The International Coaching Federation
defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.
In 2017 I trained at The Graduate Institute
in the Transformative Life Coaching program, and I studied with Joanne Killmeyer
at Milano for Executive Coaching. I credentialed as a Professional Life Coach in 2018.
In 2017 I was reflecting on the capacities I was utilizing in the various administrative leadership and education positions that I had held, and was thinking about the service relationships I had with several community organizations. I knew that I was going to be making a transition out of my role as the Director of Academic and Faculty Affairs at the Drama School and would have the time to take on more consulting work. And so I launched NorthFeather.
Through NorthFeather
I provide organizational strategy, leadership development and processwork through facilitations, trainings, design thinking workshops, organizational assessment and diagnosis, and organizational termination services.
Trained as an educator and through years of experience curating and holding neutral spaces, I have facilitated spaces for youth, faculty, students, professionals, and clergy.
Service is an important part of my personal and professional life. Professionally, I volunteer with several organizations, sit on University committees, and participate in Social Justice causes.
